Glory War Event

Glory War is one of the main seasonal events in Dark War Survival. In this event, your alliance goes up against another alliance to destroy each other’s alliance centers.

The winner is decided based on how many points they earn by taking down enemy alliance centers and seasonal buildings.

The main goal is to collect seasonal points. If your alliance wins a Glory War match, you also get to steal 20% of the losing alliance’s seasonal points.

Event Schedule

The Glory War event usually kicks off in the third week of the season and runs until the season ends.

Wars happen every Tuesday during the event.

Pre-War Phase

  • During this phase, you can pick up to three time slots as truce periods—these are times when it’s inconvenient for your alliance to participate in the war, based on your members’ time zones.
  • Once the Target Lock phase or War Day starts, you won’t be able to change your truce periods.

Target Lock Phase

  • Monday is the Target Lock phase. During this time, the alliance leader or an R4 can pick which enemy alliance to go up against. Once this phase ends, you can’t choose your opponents anymore.

War Phase

  • Tuesday is the War Phase. On this day, all survivors get a healing buff.
  • Battles are scheduled based on the earliest available time slots that work for both alliances, outside their truce periods.
  • If your opponent is from another state, you’ll be able to teleport to their state during the war—but you won’t be able to attack their Watchtowers, and they can’t attack yours either.
  • To attack enemy Alliance Centers, you have to follow this order: Alliance Center I → Alliance Center II → Alliance Center III.

Glory Points

  • Each of your Alliance Centers gives a 25% boost to how many Glory Points you earn.
  • Destroying an enemy Alliance Center gives you 60 million Glory Points.
  • Destroying an enemy Season Building gives you 100,000 Glory Points.
  • 4 Glory Points for every 1 point of durability you drain from an enemy Alliance Center or Season Building.
  • 5 Glory Points for every enemy unit you defeat.

Victory and Defeat

  • If you manage to destroy all of your opponent’s Alliance Centers during the event, your alliance wins automatically—and the same goes for them if they destroy all of yours.
  • If neither side destroys all the centers, then the alliance with the most points at the end wins.
  • The winning alliance also gets to steal 20% of the losing alliance’s seasonal points.

Personal Contribution

  • Each of your Alliance Centers boosts the Personal Contribution points you earn by 25%.
  • 4 Personal Contribution points for every 1 point of durability you reduce on an enemy Alliance Center or Season Building.
  • 150 Personal Contribution points for defeating each enemy unit.

Frequently Asked Question

Q: What happens if your opponent alliance doesn’t have any alliance centers?
A: If your opponent hasn’t placed any alliance centers, you automatically get 180 million points for “destroying” all three centers and win the war—and the same applies for you if you face them without centers.

Q: How is the battle day time chosen during the event?
A: Battle time depends on the truce periods both alliances pick. You each choose one time slot (out of three) that’s the worst for you—the time you can’t play. The war then happens in one of the time slots neither of you blocked.

Think of it like scheduling a call with busy friends: each says when they can’t do it, and the leftover time is when you meet.

Example:

  • Alliance A says “no” to slot 3
  • Alliance B says “no” to slot 1
Since they picked different bad times, the war happens in slot 2.

If both say “no” to the same slot, the war happens in the earliest slot they both can attend.

Q: Is Glory War cross-state or in-state?
A: It can be either cross-state or in-state, depending on which opponents are available.

Q: Can you opt out of the Glory War event?
A: No, there’s no way to opt out. The closest thing is to remove your alliance centers, which automatically makes the opponent win.

Q: What if your alliance doesn’t pick an opponent and no one picks you?
A: You won’t be able to play the Glory War because you have no opponent.

Q: When and how often does Glory War happen?
A: Glory War starts in the third week of a season and lasts until the season ends. War day is always on Tuesdays.

Q: Can enemy alliances attack your Watchtowers during Glory War?
A: No. Enemy alliances or others can’t attack Watchtowers during the war.

Q: If there are seasonal buildings around enemy Alliance Centers, can you still attack the centers directly?
A: No, you have to destroy those seasonal buildings first before attacking the Alliance Centers.

Q: How are opponents selected?
A: Opponents are picked based on your alliance’s ranking. You can choose an opponent or wait for another alliance to pick you. It works both ways.

Q: Can you earn points by attacking seasonal buildings of alliances other than your opponent?
A: No, you only get points from attacking your chosen opponent’s seasonal buildings.

Q: Does destroying seasonal buildings remove buffs during the war?
A: Yes, destroying seasonal buildings takes away buffs—but only for the duration of the war phase.

Q: What happens if you remove one of your Alliance Centers?
A: Removing your Alliance Center counts as if your enemy destroyed it.

Q: Does removing an Alliance Center affect laboratory progress?
A: No, laboratory progress keeps going behind the scenes even if the Alliance Center is removed.

Q: Can other alliances from the same server attack your or enemy alliance buildings?
A: Other alliances can only attack APCs but not Watchtowers, Alliance Centers, or other Glory War buildings.

Q: Can you get free teleports during the event?
A: Yes, you get one free teleport into the battlefield and one free teleport back out.
